The University of Leeds is carrying out research into miscarriage and wellbeing focusing on arts and performance. The project will be exploring the potential benefits of arts and performance. The aim of the project is to add to the resources of support that can help women who are grieving after miscarriage. This pilot project is being led by a team of dedicated researchers from the School of Performance and Cultural Industries and the School of Healthcare at the University of Leeds. For this project they will be developing materials they would like you to review and would welcome your participation.
Dr Jacki Willson (School of Performance) and Prof. Linda McGowan (School of Healthcare) are looking for women to take part in a 2 hour focus group on Zoom on 22 June at 10am. The first hour of the focus group will be an artist-led workshop and the second hour will be a discussion about a blog of artists’ work. The focus group will be followed up by individual interviews to listen to your views about the arts and performance materials and activities. All participants will receive Amazon vouchers as a token of our appreciation for taking part.
Please contact Dr Jacki Willson via j.m.willson@leeds.ac.uk ASAP if you are interested in participating.
